Position Description

The graphic design intern is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. Assist designers and production artists in creating concepts, comps, layouts and final art. The graphic design intern is able to follow projects and established designs with support from Design Manager or Creative Director.

Scope Of Responsibilities

The individual in this role will

Collaborate within and across different parts of the organization.Assigned key responsibilities to implement new strategies to enhance effective performance and delivery amongst all deliverables.Able to effectively design and create gifs and simple videos for social.Communicate a clear design point of view.Keep us organized! You’ll populate, file, and maintain electronic files including page layouts, concepts, artwork, fonts, and other pertinent information, making it easy to find, reference, and use.Create physical mockups of packaging.Take responsibility for individual design task and is able to clearly summarize “state of project” and rationale to Design Manager/Creative Director.Other duties for this role will be assigned as necessary/appropriate.

Requirements/Preferences

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent0-2 years of practical work experience as a Graphic Designer preferredSolid layout, typography, and design skills Organization and attention to detail as well as a thorough understanding of all print processes. Passionate about design and have an interest in emerging technologiesExperience working collaboratively with other designers Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite Basic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics a plusConceptual thinker with strong interest in latest design trendsDetail oriented
