What You'll Do

The Voice Services department at Edward Jones manages over 14,000 extensions on a global IP voice network to support the firm's teams and departments in providing a highly available service to our clients, branches, and associates. The department manages a range of services from design, implementation, administration and support of enterprise-wide voice technologies, development of computer telephony integration applications, voice mail applications, centralized call recording applications, and contact center applications including workforce management tools.

Specific to this position are applications such as click-to-dial across multiple vendor APIs, desktop messaging based upon call events (such as screen pops), IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications, outbound dialers, caller authentication, and various other internal applications that interact with call events.

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of :

Design, develop, and test Java applications. Design, develop, and test CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) applications. Work closely with associates and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems Resolve problems with complex application architecture Deliver quality timely results while managing competing priorities Improve overall service and efficiencies of the support processes year to year Follow standards and guidelines of the firm, team, and industry related to change management and technologies to implement solutions

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $96471

Hiring Maximum: $164262

Skills/Requirements

What Experience You'll Need :

Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience7+ years of experience directly related to the technical area of expertise including :Application development using Java, including REST services, and secured communications (authenticated and encrypted) Development environments, frameworks, and APIs (tomcat, springboot, mybatis, git, json, Avaya and Broadsoft APIs, etc.) SQL - intermediate to advanced queries Systems management of Linux and Windows servers; scripting, log management, software distribution (packaging and RPMs), and patch managementDocumentation standards and application and system diagramming
