📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Electrical Assembler (Panel Shop)
As our electrical assembler and panel shop worker, you will plan, organize and execute assigned electrical control cabinet build projects.
You will have opportunities for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket support for the systems we are installing.
Location: in-the-office job in Franklin, WI
Duties
- ) Perform panel building, electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting from drawings done in AutoCAD electrical
- ) Order, track, receive and stock the necessary electrical products to complete the panel builds.
- ) Communicate effectively to coordinate control cabinet project work with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
- ) Read electrical drawings and build control panels.
- ) Maintain adherence to a project schedule.
- ) Take responsibility for providing customer assistance with electrical issues on installed control cabinets.
- ) Must be organized and communicate well. 8.) Have interest in learning about national codes for electrical control cabinets (i.e. UL508, OSHA, NFPA79, ISO13849, etc.), as well as company standards for design and safety. 9.) Responsible for accuracy and quality of the panel build to the drawing specifications. Education Or Experience
Requires an associate degree in engineering/design, the ability to read AutoCAD electrical drawings, and a basic understanding of electrical wiring terminology and best practices.ORHave held a similar role before.
