Job SummaryThe Software Quality Assurance Engineer role is part of the Product Development team. You will be responsible for testing our software and configured solutions across our web, mobile, desktop, and backend platforms. You will work closely with developers and business analysists and perform various testing activities to keep our solutions bug-free and our customers happy.
Expectations· Provide high-level quality assurance and support to product development· Work independently and within a team to execute quality reviews· Actively participate in walkthrough, inspection, and review meetings for quality assurance· Create tests and plans to test across multiple platforms· Identify and support resolution of QA related incidents and requirement
Core Qualifications· 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a testing-related role· Understanding of testing methodologies and best practices· Strong critical thinking, analytic skills, and attention to detail· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Desire to collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and other QA Engineers· Strong diagnostic skills and ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically determine solutions· Ability to validate acceptance criteria and perform additional self-initiated exploratory testing
Preferred Qualifications· Experience working at a software product company in an Agile/SCRUM environment· Automated test authoring using Selenium, Rainforest QA, or similar· API testing using Postman or similarTechnologies We Use· Jira & Confluence· Rainforest QA and various other automated testing frameworks· Postman· BrowserStack AppLive and physical mobile devices
