Job Summary:Ekspert Counsel is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a full-time position in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is perfect for those seeking to make a significant impact in the insurance industry, using their legal acumen to resolve complex claims disputes. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and hone your litigation skills in a dynamic professional environment.
Responsibilities:Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Review, evaluate, and prepare cases for trial.Prepare legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions to dismiss (MTD), and motions for summary judgment (MSJ).Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.Prepare for and attend depositions, gathering crucial information for cases.Prepare and respond to discovery requests and address any associated issues.Attend court hearings to represent clients and present legal arguments.Maintain consistent communication and provide updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged.
Qualifications:Admitted to practice in Colorado.Litigation experience, first party property (preferred), or some type of insurance or personal injury litigation.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Compensation: Base Salary of $90,000 - $100,000 + 5% earnings on each settlement + 5% earnings on origination. Total compensation up to $175,000.
