Job Description

Designs and establishes configuration management documentation Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system Provides training on Windchill and Configuration Management to all support functions Authorizes the release of drawings and changes specified by Program or Engineering Management Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation Plans and implements methods to improve response Acts as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation Performs audits to verify compliance with contract requirements Primary duties include serving as a CM representative in the monitoring and processing of documents through the change control (CN) process via Windchill, and supporting program efforts related to Data Management Assist in the creation, release, and updates of Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Qualifications

Associate Degree or equivalent with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.Experience working with Windchill, Agile or other PLM software packages.Developing and reviewing engineering documentation that preferable includes: test plans and procedures, design documentation, materials and processes specifications.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of clients from end users to managers, to understand and implement program requirements.Ability to facilitate meetings and document feedback to address client requirements.Critical thinking and analysis skills, and excellent writing and proofreading skills.Microsoft Office tools including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
