Senior Integration Architect - Oracle Health/Cerner

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program in the capacity of a Senior Integration Architect, leveraging Cerner expertise to manage strategic projects within VHA and Oracle Health.

Key technical experience:5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle/Cerner systems, either within client sites or relevant professional environments.Active member or Alum of the Tiger Institute is highly desirable, along with a demonstrated breadth of knowledge in cross-functional solutions within the healthcare domain.

Key duties:Manage strategic projects in VHA, and Oracle Health, aligning clinical and technical expertise. Ensure optimal outcomes for EHR strategy by identifying and addressing gaps that may affect program success. Advise on, develop, and implement best practices, policies, and EHR design and workflows.Develop processes to integrate technical solutions and mitigate program risks. Lead an integration architect team, employing program management methodology to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.

Required Experience:At least 5 years of professional work experience.Evaluates the information and knowledge requirements of healthcare professionals and patients, analyzes and improves clinical procedures, designs and integrates clinical decision support systems, and takes a leading role in the acquisition, customization, development, implementation, and enhancement of clinical information systems like EHRs and order-entry systems, focusing on ongoing evaluation and refinement.Supervise and create new approaches and solutions.A Master’s Degree or PhD in Healthcare or a related scientific, technical, or clinical field is necessary. Alternatively, an additional 12 years of pertinent experience can be used in place of a degree.
