Description

The Oncology Account Manager is a key member of our customer facing organization and is responsible for partnering with customers to address identified needs, educate key stakeholders about our products, and communicate our vision to the larger Oncology community. This is a remote-based position located within the Mid Atlantic region of the United States.
The ideal candidate will live in or near one of the following territories: Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Harrisburg, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Richmond, VA; Charleston, WV.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how to create a compelling and logical rationale for the value of products and how to contrast, compare, and position our Company's brand(s) versus competition using appropriate resources in informed discussions about products with HCP customers – knowing when/how to seek and provide additional informationAct as primary point of contact for customerMeet with key customers/personnel to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencersPossess knowledge of cancer staging and possible treatment options and dosing schedules associated with different tumors/diseases, with comprehensive understanding of the impact of those options on the patientUnderstand impact and use of clinical trials in multiple tumor types/therapies, both in impact on promoted products and in practice behavior of the accountAnalyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment; includes the multiple channels of drug distribution, Oncology GPO’s, wholesalers, and specialty pharmaciesDemonstrate ability to understand complex account interdependencies in order to develop both short- and long-term account plans in conjunction with a wide array of stakeholders, proactively working with the account team and supervisor to effectively execute the account learnings and best-practicesInfluence beyond their specific geography or product area demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in oncology accountsCollaborate and communicate effectively with extended "in-scope" customer team to ensure a consistent customer experience across our Company's functional areas
Requirements
BA/BS required; MBA/MS preferredMinimum 5 years oncology experience (Oncology, IO, solid tumors and infusion products)Direct experience working with key opinion leaders and/or executive-level customers of high influence in large practices, hospitals, and community networksDocumented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or Oncology clinical roleExperience in the use of technology (CRM, Business Planning tools, reporting tools, LMS)Valid driver’s licenseMust have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders and senior level leaders, good conflict management and negotiations skills, and the ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendationsMust have a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action, excellent analytical skills, and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate riskSignificant travel may be required, up to 50% travel, based on business needsAbility to demonstrate Elevar’s core values by holding ourselves and each other accountable for the work we do, taking time to collaborate effectively while working remotely, making space for ingenuity in work and thought, and staying grounded in compassion
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $215,000. Final compensation depends on multiple factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skillset, depth and breadth of knowledge, internal equity, and external market factors.
