Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist at Elevate Care, you will play a critical role in providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. You will assess patient conditions, develop and implement respiratory care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory care needsDevelop and implement individualized respiratory care plansAdminister respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribedMonitor and evaluate patient responses to therapyEducate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-managementCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activitiesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care
Qualifications
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist licenseGraduation from an accredited respiratory therapy programBLS and ACLS certificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentCompassionate and patient-centered approachExperience with mechanical ventilation and critical care is a plus
