π Role Overview & Responsibilities
General Summary
The Curriculum Specialist I designs, develops, and delivers engaging learning solutions within a specified timeline to address business requirements and challenges. While designing and developing content, this role works with subject matter experts to analyze needs and obtain information related to new and existing business and system processes, regulatory/legal requirements, and agent and/or employee quality and performance. Curriculum Specialists use learning theory and technical knowledge to deliver an educational experience for learners that successfully enhances knowledge, performance, and/or skill level.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Identify training needs, objectives, and project scope by assessing product requirements, quality scores, surveys, focus group feedback, interviewing subject matter expert, and/or consulting with managers, instructors, or agents.Determine appropriate instructional delivery methods and identify timeline/deadlines.Design, develop, and/or enhance engaging and effective training materials and resources (may include train-the-trainer materials, participant guides, job aids/checklists, quick reference guides, web-based learning, role plays/activities, etc.).Measure training effectiveness by partnering with vendor trainers, reviewing learner evaluations, and coordinating with Operations Managers to assess completion, comprehension, and retention of content deployed. Identify improvement areas and revise training materials and/or conduct refresher training as appropriate.Participate in Quality calibration sessions and identify topics for refresher training activities.
Travel Requirement: In meeting business demands travel will be required. This could require 30% travel for three-week intervals, including weekend stays, to US and international locations
Experience And Education
Bachelorβs Degree (or equivalent work experience)2 years training delivery and/or curriculum development experienceExperience in collections, sales, and/or customer service/call center environmentFamiliarity with training technologies/e-learning preferredDemonstrated success in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environmentProficient computer experience and familiar with MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
