📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A leader and innovator in financial services needs a skilled and experienced NodeJS Engineer to help our financial client build a next generation cloud based B2B brokerage trading platform with a crypto component. Be part of exciting new incubators in our financial client geared at rapidly moving ideas from concepts to scale to help bring these game-changing ideas to market.
Due to client requirement, we are unable to facilitate corp-to-corp consultants. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2
Requirements of the Senior Node Engineer:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related and 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript with NodeJSExperience developing and supporting large-scale NodeJS Express applicationsExperience with microservices based architecture and microservices development with strong API design skillsExperience building reusable NodeJS modules and comfortable using NPM to manage dependenciesComfortable with container technologies using Docker and KubernetesAPI first approach for building productsExperience using NoSQL database like MongoDBExperience or knowledge of working with ElasticsearchKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and ArtifactoryExperience in an Agile development environment
