Overview:As an SAP RAR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP RAR solutions to support revenue recognition processes. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, revenue accountants, and finance teams to understand their requirements, analyze complex revenue processes, and develop efficient solutions within the SAP RAR module. Your role will involve configuring SAP RAR functionalities, customizing business processes, and integrating SAP RAR with other systems. You will also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the accurate and compliant recording of revenue within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis:Collaborate with business stakeholders, revenue accountants, and finance teams to gather and analyze requirements related to revenue recognition processes.Understand business processes and regulatory requirements related to revenue accounting and reporting.Solution Design:

Design SAP RAR solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and compliance standards.Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP RAR configurations and customizations.Configuration and Customization:

Configure SAP RAR modules including Contract and Performance Obligation Management, Revenue Recognition, and Revenue Reporting.Customize SAP RAR functionalities to address specific business needs, including enhancements using ABAP programming language if required.Develop and maintain SAP RAR reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).Integration:

Integrate SAP RAR with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), and Supply Chain Management (SCM).Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP RAR and other systems, including CRM and ERP systems.Testing and Deployment:

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for SAP RAR solutions.Prepare deployment plans and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth implementation of SAP RAR changes.Support and Maintenance:

Provide ongoing technical support for SAP RAR applications, addressing user issues, and resolving incidents and problems.Perform routine maintenance activities such as system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.Training and Documentation:

Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP RAR functionalities.Document SAP RAR configurations, customizations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.Certification in SAP RAR is highly desirable.Proven experience as an SAP RAR Consultant or Developer, with hands-on experience in SAP RAR implementation projects.In-depth knowledge of SAP RAR module configurations, customizations, and integrations.Familiarity with revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15.Proficiency in ABAP programming language for SAP RAR enhancements is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
