Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description:Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the Senior Counsel role will be a key member of the Legal team. The Senior Counsel will manage, draft, and negotiate complex customer agreements and oversee regulatory and compliance matters.

What You’ll Do:Draft and negotiate high-level, complex agreements for sales of Elite’s products to its customers.Collaborate with Elite’s business teams to standardize contract forms and increase efficiency of deal execution.Assist with the management and implementation of Elite’s compliance program, policies, and procedures.Advise the commercial teams on compliance and regulatory matters.Advise the commercial teams on privacy and security law, including staying current on applicable privacy laws, such as CCPA and GDPR.

What You’ll Need:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing.Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience practicing law, with a strong background in commercial contract drafting and negotiating, compliance and privacy.Prior experience within the SaaS industry.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.
