Staff Accountant

Right now, we are looking for an eager Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting Team!

As Staff Accountant, you will interact with internal department stakeholders on an everyday basis, along with being given exposure to necessary skills for a successful career in Accounting. In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, revenuerecognition, and account reconciliation . Responsibilities: Record, code and process invoices and payments via ACH, wire or check as required.Record payments in the G/L.Daily cash reconciliations.Prepare and process journal entries.Prepare month-end accruals.Monthly general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with the year-end close process.Support annual audit process.Annual 1099 process.Collect and analyze financial data as needed.

Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.2-4 years of related experience.Familiarity with and/ or experience with SOXAdvanced skills in Excel and (vlookup, sumif, countif functions, pivot tables)Analytical and detail oriented, capable of diving into issues with data to discover root causes.Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.A true team player!
