Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering or equivalent, along with proven experience in managing teams of engineers and overseeing projects across diverse sectors. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver impactful projects while contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:Lead project teams in the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project objectives, budgets, and timelines.Manage and coordinate project activities, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction phases, to achieve project milestones and deliverables.Oversee the work of engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality project delivery.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project partners, fostering strong relationships and effectively managing expectations.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.Prepare and present project reports, updates, and presentations to senior management, clients, and project stakeholders.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform project strategies and approaches.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a Civil Engineering or related industry.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building.Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Civil Engineering projects.Local to the Houston area or willingness to relocate.
