📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our Manufacturing Client in Houston, Texas is looking to add an Accounts Payable Manager to their team! This Direct Hire position will be fully onsite near the Jersey Village area. The Ideal Candidate will have at least 10 years of recent experience managing a team of 5 or more within the Accounts Payable department. *Only applicants currently residing in Houston, Texas will be considered for this position*
Responsibilities: The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for oversight of all Accounts Payable functionsAdditional functions include supervision of staff, research, analysis, and resolution of complex payment and vendor issues, preparation of special reports, the maintenance of adequate internal control with regard to cash disbursements, and overall process improvementEnsures all vendors are paid per contractual terms and that inquiries and payment issues are responded to and resolved in a timely mannerManage the full-cycle of the accounts payable process and Installer Payables including processing/approving/vendor paymentsPrepare and present weekly reports on the accounts payable status to senior management
Qualifications:8+ years of accounting management experienceSolid background in process improvement, project management, and execution of company initiatives Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, Coupa software, or any other large ERPAbility to accurately solve problems and a working knowledge in data management including spreadsheet proficiency
Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in a global high volume processing environmentBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
