Job Description

We are hiring a driven salesperson for our client, a classic men’s apparel brand at their flagship store in Charleston, SC! We’re looking for a team player with excellent customer service skills who is eager to generate leads and meet sales goals. Menswear & custom clothing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Generating leads and developing a relationship based book of businessMeeting or exceeding monthly sales goalsCoordinating sales efforts with marketing programs delivered from corporateUnderstanding and promoting company products and servicesLearning all aspects of custom clothing and pattern creation to ensure the best product is delivered to our customersAssist with operational proceduresMaintaining sales activity in our CRMChecking customers out at our POS systemEntering orders on our platformGeneral upkeep of the retail store in partnership with the teamAssisting and selling to all customers in the retail store Participating in team meetings and company wide trainings Opening and closing of the retail store which includes but is not limited to, merchandising, store upkeep and cleanliness, cash drawer reconciliation and upkeep of brand standards.Requirements:Experience in sales.Understanding of the sales process and prospecting.A commitment to excellent customer service.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and vendors. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.Experience working in retail, particularly menswear preferred but not required. Custom experience is a plus!

Base $3,000-3,500/month (first 2-3 months)

10% commission on gross sales + clothing allowance. Possibility for bonus.
