📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor will oversee packaging operations in a food processing environment. This position is responsible for production yield, product quality, food safety, staffing, labor efficiency, resource (raw material) efficiency, and employee safety.
Shift: third shift; Monday thru Friday ONLY

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversees all production and sanitation activities during assigned shiftEnsures operational adherence to the production planning scheduleMonitors and tracks departmental KPI’s and takes appropriate action to achieve production goals.Executes corrective action to address production downtime.Responsible for employee performance management and developmentCreates the employee labor schedule and adheres to established labor utilization rates.Provides facility wide leadership support as needed.Leads Continuous Improvement initiatives for assigned areasPartners with the maintenance team to coordinate maintenance activities.Leads and promotes programs to support a proactive safety cultureMentors and develops leadership talent within the organization Qualifications / Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred3+ years supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentFood manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read and interpret documents, manuals and instructionsAbility to calculate using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentagesProficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, JD EdwardsValid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance coverage
