Job Description And Duties

Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with valuable experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to managers and staff in the Employment Development Department's (EDD) Information Technology (IT) Branch? The EDD is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and analytical individual to join the IT Branch's Resource Management Group. The IT Training Analyst assesses and evaluates ITB's training needs; coordinates ITB's training plan for managers and supervisors; provides management with IT training information and recommendations; plans, schedules, and monitors all of ITB's training activities; maintains ITB's training budget; and requests and monitors IT training contracts.

The successful candidate has excellent writing and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento, California and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
