Infrastructure Manager

Encore Talent is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to provide leadership and technology vision in the support, development, and implementation of information technology. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing, administering, monitoring, and supporting the infrastructure related components and environments of the company, working directly with the IT Help Desk, supporting technology and applications provided to the business. The Infrastructure Manager position requires strong knowledge and hands on experience with network administration, data center operations, Office 365, and Microsoft systems.

Responsibilities:· Lead and direct performance of the infrastructure team· Review, evaluate, and develop recommendations for enhancements and support of IT infrastructure and applications· Document, plan, design, implement, support, and maintain all aspect of the enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, network, and telecommunication components· Establish and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for the IT department· Develop and standardize infrastructure services and procedures along with streamlining any discovered inefficiencies· Manage the team in charge of day-to-day operations to key performance metrics defined for System Security, Network availability and critical system incidents· Manage personnel including mentoring and/or working with employees to enhance their performance, career development, and work production· Work with director and managers to determine staffing requirements, interviews, hire new employees, and oversees personnel processes· Investigate and document new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system stability and reliability· Oversee, plan, and manage large/complex projects· Lead and coordinate innovation efforts to implement new technology solutions and services for employees and customers· Select, manage, and control IT providers and outsourced service providers· Build and nurture positive working relationships with the team, internal clients, and vendors· Administrate networks and servers and provides support to the IT Help Desk and Rumpke employees as needed· Assist with the preparation and presentation of the annual technology budget· Review and maintains applicable service level agreements

Qualifications:· 7+ years of experience with functional and technical aspects of IT support services and related infrastructure solutions, capabilities and technologies including Virtualization (VMWare), Network Management, SAN Storage, Project Management, and Cisco Telephony· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 and Microsoft SQL 2008/2014/2016· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365· Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory, PowerShell, and Group Policy· 3-5 years of infrastructure lead or management experience preferred· Experience with AWS, Azure, and other PaaS technologies is desired· Passion for customer service, efficiency, effectiveness, precision, and quality· Ability to form a diverse team with different talents that complement each other.· Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills· Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills· Strong leadership skills· Ability to organize and deliver presentations in front of groups· Ability to train IT team and business employees· Possess personal drive and initiative regarding career growth· Strong planning and organizational skills· Ability to direct and prioritize the workload of the team· Ability to work independently, prioritize own tasks, and tasks of others· Able to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed· Ability to travel between offices, as required
