Position Highlights
Sign on bonus: $5000 payable in two installmentsPosition: Mental Health Clinical Therapist ILocation: MokenaFull TimeHours:7:30am-4:00pm M-F
Providing quality clinical therapeutic services to patient populations and their families/significant others. Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assuring the deliverance of quality treatment.
What You Will Need
Required Education, Skills and/or Experience
Master’s Degree in Social work or a Master’s Degree in a recognized mental health field or a Bachelor’s Degree and completion of an approved substance abuse education program for assignment in the substance abuse areaKnowledge of developmental psychology, disease pathology and clinical needs of assigned populationAbility to maintain information which is highly confidentialAbility to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentationAbility to demonstrate self-control in volatile or hostile situationsAbility to set therapeutic limits and maintain therapeutic distance with clients; maintains therapeutic boundaries with patients during treatment and following discharge
Preferred Education, Skills And/or Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting
Required License And/or Certification
Current State of Illinois licensure with a minimum of three letters which may include LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LSW (Licensed Social Worker), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LCP (Licensed Clinical Psychologist) unless primary patient population is chemical dependency when a CADC is requiredCurrent CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red CrossCPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
