📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a Solar Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate bids, cost management, and efficient procurement of necessary materials. You will collaborate with various teams to support project development, manage proposals, and facilitate the sales process, contributing to the successful execution of solar projects.Key Responsibilities:Manage bids, solicitations, estimating, procurement of long-lead time items.Managing costs, reviewing proposals, scopes, etc. Assist with responses to RFPs/RFQs/SOIs.Managing standard processes for development and construction work.Assist with the sale of projects at time of NTP.Support project attorneys and engineers on agreements, development tasks.Assist President and CEO in a supportive role.Assist Executive Vice President in a supportive role.Interface with development team and other key players in development phase; track new information; handle RFIs/Datarooms.Coordinate with engineers and attorneys on permits.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.Proven experience (3+ years) in the energy industryProcore and Smartsheets is a plus.
