What You Can Expect

As our Civil Engineering ****** (CEI), you will daily support the Civil Engineering team in preparing, designing, and finalizing layouts for ground mount solar photovoltaic installations across ENGIE NorthAM. Collaborating with various departments, you will assist in developing, designing, and optimizing these projects. This role offers exposure to many responsibilities, working closely with Civil Engineers. The ******ship program spans three (3) months, from June to August 2024, based in our Chicago, IL office, and reports to the Man******r of Civil Engineering, Engineering & Delivery

• *****ate and review ground mount and carport Photovoltaic layoutsMaintain drafting processes and support continuous improvement of drawing standardsPerform site assessment and land surveying for design development, including the use of dronesDraft project layouts and details, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility, and collaborate with the team to resolve conflicts

What You’ll Bring

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Man******ment, Engineering, or at least a college Junior with a focus in Engineering or related field You are proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD. You have the ability to lead and adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment You possess the ability to work with a collaborative approach to getting the work done You have strong time Man******ment skills

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; with a minimum three (3) day in the Chicago, IL office Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.00- $25.00 USD hourly

This represents the aver****** expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
