Our client, an industry leading plastic film producer is seeking slitter operators to join their team. As an operator, you will be part of the extrusion department supporting risizing of extruded plastic. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Bloomer, WI
Pay Range: $20-$23.50 an hour plus $2.50 shift differential for nights
What’s the Job?
Slitting down plastic extruded rolls in to smaller sizes to meet customer specifications Rewinding questionable materials Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks in alignment with position Ensuring continuous quality Assisting co-workers with their tasks to expedite changeovers
What’s Needed?
A strong commitment to safe work practices Related work history in a manufacturing or technical field (education or certifications considered)Technical and mechanical aptitude Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull, and lift up to 65 pounds throughout a 12 hour shift Basic working computer knowledgeStrong interpersonal communication
