Chemist/Quality Control ManagerChemist with 4-5 years of experience with polymer materials/organic chemistryNeed to have BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a similar area of scienceExperience with any of the following materials: plastic, resin, adhesive, paint, surfactin, soaps, pigment, iron oxide, iron particle, ironIdeally someone who works cross functionally with other departments such as: operations, manufacturing, the plant, sales and qualityAny experience with ISO 9001 is a plusSupport the evaluation and specification of new or alternate raw materials for new and existing products.Internal non-conformances; such as finished goods or raw material deficiencies.Maintain bills of material and manufacturing instructions as required.Maintain QC testing procedures and equipment calibration methods.Help resolve customer complaints involving product quality. .Experience with the management of the ERP system (formula entry, etc.).Help insure product and facility compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Manage raw material & finished goods SDSs and PPE requirements for the facility.Evaluate competitive products as a means of assessing comparative advantages and disadvantages of the current product line.Provide assistance with various chemical production activities not otherwise specified.
