As a Senior Manager of Accounting, you will assume a vital role within our accounting team, contributing significantly to the continued growth and success of our company. Your responsibilities will include providing essential financial expertise to our operating group, conducting thorough financial analysis, and establishing robust processes to support our business complexity and expansion.
Responsibilities & Impact:Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records, reports, and transactions, staying abreast of accounting standards and changes in financial reporting requirements.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.Address complex technical accounting matters to support business growth, design processes to accommodate increasing business complexity, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.Oversee the month-end close process, quarterly reporting for the Board of Directors, and serve as the primary liaison for audit fieldwork with external auditors.Provide financial support to various departments including Facilities, HR, and Legal, collaborating closely with senior Finance & Accounting leadership to ensure alignment with internal financial practices.Drive budgeting and forecasting activities, communicate financial information effectively to business stakeholders, and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization through clear and concise communication channels.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation and experience in Public Accounting preferred.Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including proven leadership experience.
