Accountant

Job responsibilities include:Multi-state Payroll completed in-houseAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableData Entry and InvoicingDetermine and create General Ledger EntriesMulti-state tax filingsReconciliation of assigned General Ledger AccountsSupport management by compiling data and creating reports as requestedProvide accounting support to team by updating financial forecastsAssist with month, quarter, and year-end closeAssist HR with employee paperwork relating to Payroll, i.e. entering and reviewing data for accuracy

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or in a closely related field3 - 6 years of accounting work experience; using Great Plains (MS Dynamics) software preferredExperience processing multi-state payroll and employment taxes preferredAbility to work independently and in a team environment to solve problems with general guidanceStrong organizational skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to understand how the information fits into the big pictureOutstanding work ethic with a high degree of integrityAccurate data entry, reporting skills, process management, organization, and information analysisExcellent MS Excel skills with the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheetsProfessional and positive attitude with a customer service orientated approach to tasks
