Current employment for this job centers around mental health counseling performed with children and adolescents in school settings, as well as sometimes in their homes. Additionally, cases do occasionally require working with adults in their home setting. Work locations include Coffee and Pike Counties, as well as occasionally the counties of Geneva, Dale, and Houston (in the State of Alabama). A reliable vehicle and a driver‘s license is required. This job requires licensure as a professional counselor (LPC), licensure as an associate licensed counselor (ALC) in the state of Alabama, or licensure as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Note: Individuals whom have met all the necessary academic and professional requirements to assume the ALC credential in the state of Alabama will also be heavily considered for employment).The ability to pass a background check is also a requirement
