GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA

Responsible for overseeing reliable and seamless Accounts Payable process North American Legal Entities (US and Canada).Drive efficiency of accounts payable processes.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO

Serve as the primary point of contact between Envu and the outsourced partner for accounts payable functions, occasionally acting as an extension of the partner. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure uniformity and accurate procurement categories for various expenditure types to facilitate reviews. Provide guidance on purchase order creation and receipts.Coordinate with the outsourced partner to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable transactions and step-in to process invoices as necessary.Implement periodic reconciliation process to reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure the accuracy of vendor statements. Institute periodic review process to review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review Accounts Payable aging reports to ensure data reliability, analyze and resolve overdue payments.Collaborate with outsourced partner to ensure month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable functions are completed on time. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations. Support Group and local audits by providing timely analysis and documentation pertaining to Accounts PayableAd hoc analysis to support accounting processes.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience (3 - 5 years) in accounts payable with experience in working alongside with outsourced partners. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, principles, and best practices. Hands-on with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to resolve accounts payable issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance in accounts payable. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 accounting software is a plus.Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges, wearing multiple hats as needed in a start-up environment.
