📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our Denver Accounting team is looking for a JIB Accountant contractor to join their team.
Requirements
Assist with JIB AR collectionsAssist with JIB Reverse/Rebills and JIB deck updatesMaintain fixed asset depreciation schedulesTransfer acquired leasehold costs to unproved propertiesRecord various accounting journals (ad valorem tax, ARO, producing overhead, UOP DD&A, etc.)Review AFE's to clear costs to appropriate capital accountsPerform account reconciliations and ad hoc analysisOther tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Accounting/Business degree1+ years of O&G experience more preferred (looking for knowledge of JIB accounting)Cost/AFE accounting experienceProficient with Excel Knowledge of Microsoft QueryDetail orientedAnalytical mindsetSelf-starter yet works well within a team environmentPersonality that is not timid so as to engage with operational department outside of accounting
Position will be Filled at a level commensurate with experience
