Senior Construction Manager Health Care

Overview:We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager with 5+ years of health care experience to join our team in Napa, CA. This candidate will be opening a new region for Epic. You will be responsible for building a team of 3-5 project managers / assistant project managers for the region.As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from start to finish. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong project management skills and a deep understanding of the construction industry.Responsibilities:· Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications· Plan, oversee, manage, and ensure multi-phase, large-scale construction projects are on time, on budget, and progressing as scheduled to client contract.Demonstrate prioritized commitment to clients' needs, requests, and confidentiality as senior managing representative. Set and direct the schedule and budget for all projects within defined team accountability.Delegate tasks among consulting team members and oversee project implementation.Formulate informed solutions on each project according to blueprints and technical diagrams with managed liaison to client, contractor, architects, and vendors.Enact quick and informative adjustments with understanding the full impact to projected plans, personnel, and budget in order to maximize productivity and cost-efficiency.Relay effective correspondence on highly technical construction management issues.Collaborate and mentor efforts within the team to consult and monitor construction budgets amongst liable resources being utilized for the duration of the project lifecycles.Oversee and communicate appropriate inspections and required construction permits from local authorities, agencies, or contractors during all construction phases.Revise the overall efficacy and design for improved company-wide performance on standardized construction project methods, procedures, and practices.Safeguard all job sites to remain safe, clean, and orderly; help discern and implement requirements in adherence to safety and quality guidelines.Supervise staff on daily operations and provide constructive feedback for project progress.Serve as point of escalation for on-site issues and emergencies for immediate resolution.Experience:5 years of health care PM or CM experienceProven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager working for a health care focused GCStrong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materialsProficiency in construction estimating software and project management toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsStrong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a teamIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for construction and a proven track record of successful project management, we would love to hear from you.
