Shift: Mid / 2p-10:30p, 8x5, 40 hours per week, EOW

Ultrasound Tech

Shift: This is for Evening (mids) shift within the General Ultrasound dept. Hours are Monday-Friday 2pm to 10:30pm. No Call, No weekends, No Holidays. We do all general ultrasound exams: Abdomen, Kidneys, Thyroids, Transplants, etc. NO Breast, OB, or Vascular - these are all done in their respective departments. Prefer ABD certification, Doppler experience helpful. Prefer prior traveler experience.

Weekend REQ: Every other weekend

Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? No

Special Requirements

Patient age group: adults and geriatrics

We do general ultrasound examinations, and superficial procedures. We also do a lot of transplant patients - so Doppler of abdominal vasculature is helpful. We do NOT do OB, Vascular studies, or Breast, these are all done in their respective specialties. We have 7 rooms on our North campus which is where are travelers are assigned. 2 of these rooms are for procedures - FNA's, Lymph Nodes, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis, etc.

BLS, RDMS-AB, ARDMS required

RDMS-OB, RVT preferred

Experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient

Experience preferred: teaching hospital, community hospital

Skills required: Portables

Skills preferred: PACS, Biopsies

Ultrasound procedure experience required: General, abdomen, renal/pelvis, small parts, paracentesis, thoracentesis

Other skills required: renal artery duplex

Other skills preferred: doppler studies, M-Mode, GE, EPIC charting experience
