Seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Level COBOL Software Engineer/Developer to work on Enhancement, New Development, & Production Support Projects for a mission critical Legacy Application (Vehicle Invoicing and Drafting, VI&D). Vehicle Invoicing and Drafting is a Mainframe/COBOL Legacy application; approx. 50+ years old with Online and Batch Programs. The ideal candidate is independent, very organized, with a keen sense of detail and a natural ability to develop solutions. Candidate performs superbly under pressure and can balance a number of disparate projects. The Software Engineer must deliver their project on time and with high quality, according to defined processes. Experience with Agile methodology is a must. Difficult situations and business partner conversations must be handled tactfully. Both the Business and the Team must like you, trust you, and feel comfortable around you. VI&D is a mission critical application and core to Company, so some level of stress is expected. If you're up to the challenge, we look forward to speaking with you.

Experience Required:10+ years of advanced experience working on a complex Legacy Applications

Education Required:BA+ in Computer Science or related industry
