Sr. Manager, Investment Operations

JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Manager of Investments leads, develops, and manages a team (or teams) within the Investments department. Exhibits and embraces Equity Trust Company (ETC) Core Values and leads their team to do the same. Supports the goals and objectives of ETC leadership, collaborates effectively across the organization, and provides an excellent client experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develops, implements, and improves team processes and proceduresIdentifies opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency of the team work productReviews and interprets daily/weekly/monthly metricsEstablishes, monitors, and communicates team and individual productivity targetsDevelops and implements plans to manage daily workflow and meet service and productivity targetsHires high-quality, best-fit candidatesMeets with individual team members monthly to provide feedback on performanceImplements team and individual training needs and continuing education opportunitiesPrepares and delivers corrective action plansCompletes quarterly performance appraisals in accordance with ETC guidelinesLeads special projects OTHER FUNCTIONS:Coordinates with Supervisors and Team Leads to establish work schedules and maintain appropriate coverageManages special projects within the team and supports projects and initiatives across the organizationAssists with the annual budget processForecasts staffing needs and plan accordinglyPerforms other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or equivalent work experienceMinimum five (5) years of experience in a retirement plan environmentSupervisory experience managing multiple business units PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION(S):None required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:Advanced analytical skills and problem solving capabilitiesExpert level proficiency in Microsoft Office

This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to speak and hear. It requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
