Hours

40 hours/week

The contact center is open Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Schedule

This position offers a set schedule, Monday – Saturday with a day off during the week, and every Sunday off. It is a hybrid role that is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time.

The contact center is located at our beautiful ESL headquarters located in Rochester, NY and offers an open office environment filled with natural lighting.

Pay

$18.90/hr with opportunity to advance to a level II at $21.17/hr

In this role, you will deliver a positive experience over the phone by supporting our members with a variety of financial inquiries, transactions, and requests. You will work as part of a team to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

High School diploma or High School equivalency diploma requiredOne year in sales/service in the financial services, retail, or comparable industryMaintains a high degree of dependability and punctualityEffective verbal communication skillsPrior financial services industry experience preferredThe ability to create rapport and establish mutually beneficial relationships with customers, peers, and support partners Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of accuracyAbility to maintain positivity and professionalism under pressureStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsComfortable supporting customers requiring assistance with ESL Digital ChannelsConfidence to recommend products and services that help customers achieve their financial goalsDemonstrate alignment with ESL’s Core Values, mission, vision, and Purpose to help our community thrive and prosper
