The Digital Health Implementation function is part of Evinova and works across 4 key areas by defining our digital health strategies, developing and deploying novel endpoints as well as digital patient solutions to support our full R&D clinical development and commercial drug portfolios in partnership with R&D and IT teams. Transform clinical development, through the development of patient and site-centric digital solutions that improve access to clinical trials for all patients, whilst delivering faster and more efficiently for both site and sponsorImprove outcomes for our patients and trials through remote data collection and patient support, providing enriched data sets to support regulatory submissions and differentiated labelingPartner with the healthcare industry to determine how digital technologies can improve diagnosis, access to treatments, and outcomes for patients with CKD, Heart Failure, and COPD, including remote diagnosis tools and multi-modal healthcare data and AI approachesOptimize real-world medication use by patients and deliver digital interventions to improve clinical outcomes with our medicines.

The holder of this role will collaborate and partner within an extended team structure across CPTs, Digital Health Clin Ops, and PCS to oversee the implementation of digital patient solutions. This role supports the execution of clinical trials and digital therapeutics crafted to augment the efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The role holder will also contribute to defining processes and ways of working for now and the future.

Delivery of Digital Health Strategies

Support the development of the Digital Health strategy by using operational expertise across a program(s) or studies as assigned.Accountable for the Operational implementation of the digital strategies approved by GPT within the agreed scope and project budgetOversee the implementation of Digital Health strategy to anticipate project requirements and mitigate risks to project deliveryEnsure the Implementation Lead understands the project strategy, project priorities, and specific project challengesSupport staff/team to achieve project milestones and study deliverablesWork across departments to support the delivery of projects and organizational improvementsAct as the first point of issue escalation for implementation issuesEnsure Inspection Readiness of digital patient solutions delivered to each studyEnsure effective and transparent risk, opportunity, and issues management at strategic and operational levels, ensure appropriate reporting according to GCP and AZ processesDevelop and manage relationships with internal and external technology and service providers to enable innovation approaches and endpoints to be included in Digital Strategies.Help build a learning organization: ensure that any learning associated with the programs is shared within the Digital Patient Health & Innovation Organization

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or relevant fieldAt least 5 years of relevant experience in R&D and strong knowledge of Drug Development processesWell-developed Project management skills, including managing vendors, budgets, timelines, and risksAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional setting with internal as well as external partnersAbility to challenge the status quo, take ownership, and hold self and others accountableSenior Stakeholder management skills together with proven negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal leadership skillsEffective problem and conflict-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and create clarityPassion for Patients, representing the needs of diverse patient backgrounds and views in all decision-making.
