📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Senior Software Developer - W2Location: Remote Rate: $85 - $100 per hour Contract: 12 months initial
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in Azure Cloud services and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python and possess strong knowledge of JavaScript, particularly in areas relevant to cloud-native application development. In addition to technical capabilities, the successful candidate will have experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and a passion for exploring emerging technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services on the Azure platform.Implement and optimize generative AI algorithms to solve complex problems and enhance product capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions.Drive best practices for code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing, AI, and software development methodologies.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Strong professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies and AI.Extensive experience working with Azure Cloud services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Machine Learning, etc.Proficiency in Python programming language, with demonstrated experience in developing and deploying production-grade applications.Strong understanding of JavaScript, with knowledge of modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Node.js.Hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenAI.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Qualifications:Certification in Azure or AI-related technologies.Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.Knowledge of serverless computing concepts and architectures.
