Studio Compliance Officer

Job Description

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing operational and studio compliance for the Fairfield, CT live studios.

Essential Job Function & Responsibilities

Adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal or external changes demand.Examines policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.Coordinates with operating departments to ensure adherence to laws and regulations relating to new or revised internal gaming controls.Responsible for the creation, revision, and submission of Internal Controls.Keeps all Internal Controls up to date and on file with the MGCB.Coordinates with the live studio management and operations to ensure adherence to laws and regulations to new or revised internal controls.Consults with and advises operating units and management affected by compliance issues and regulatory requirements.Responsible for addressing day-to-day compliance inquiries or issues; internal memoranda and correspondence; and any other policies or programs published by the company that are of a compliance nature;Responsible for submissions to the MGCB to obtain approvals for table games additions, deletions and/or moves and any other approvals required by the regulator.Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Preference in business or regulatory related field.Experience in gaming industry or similar regulatory field: Audit, Governance, Compliance, or Regulatory Oversight.Background in highly regulated industries, with a strong preference for gaming experience or Casino Audit experience.Ability to read, analyze and interpret gaming statues, rules, and regulations.Skilled in Excel; experience in Confluence and JIRA systems a plus.Ability to work a hybrid schedule and flexible hours when required.Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate with leadership effectively and succinctly to deliver critical findings and reports.Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.Experience in gathering and understanding audit and regulatory requirements.Understanding of the creation and implementation of organizational policies and compliance to them.
