📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Storage Software EngineerLocation: Salt Lake City, UT or Dallas, TX (local only)ANY VISA MUST HAVE: - Storage Software Engineer - Infrastructure as code, developer that understands infrastructure, - 2 Page max resume- Java is preferred language, block storage, pure dell hpe, do coding to manage the storage background in financial services or equivalent- Rubrik, EMC Networker, EMC Data Domain, EMC VNX and VMAX, Hitachi HDS Overall project: support core card build out, separate piece of work to build out this environment, individuals would be part of the storage or compute team, allocated to this project full time to do this work, decommissioning their build out, beef up their infra team to support their day to day while they decommission cord card product.
Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in software development Experience with automated unit and integration testingPrevious experience with RESTful web servicesProven work experience in Java or other JVM based language development.Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills.Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems,Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.Effective communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Preferred QualificationsTest-Driven Development and Behaviour-Driven DevelopmentUnderstanding of block storageGood understanding of enterprise level change, incident, and problem management processes.Automation utilizing scripting languages like bash, Python and/or Perl.Understanding of how to troubleshoot basic Unix/Linux problems.
