Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
At Expedia Group, we’re passionate about data-driven decision-making. We are seeking a talented Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Workforce Planning Analytics team. If you thrive on solving complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and turning data into actionable insights, this role is for you! As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s success.
What You’ll Do:
Utilize your perfect knowledge of SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.Create insightful reports and dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.Work closely with our data engineering team to optimize data pipelines.Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.Be the information liaison between our analytics team and business stakeholders.Partner with Real Time and Scheduling, Forecasting, Operations, Finance, and other teams to provide timely insights.Use your critical thinking skills to troubleshoot data-related issues.Respond to stakeholder requests promptly and professionally.Understand our organization’s processes, objectives, and challenges to provide relevant insights.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business Analytics, etc.); Master’s preferred.Perfect knowledge of SQL—you can write complex queries in your sleep.Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.).Familiarity with Python or other programming languages (preferred)Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.Exposure to reporting in a Contact Center environment is highly valuable.
