Experience Waterloo is looking to hire a Marketing Content Coordinator focused on capturing photographs and video highlighting the people and places that help define Waterloo’s story. Additional responsibilities will be managing Experience Waterloo’s social media footprint.
Ideal candidates will have a base understanding of video & photography, as well as editing, to ensure quality content promoting a great community. PRINCIPLE DUTIESWork with the Marketing Director to develop and execute a plan to capture qualities video and photo content of various facets of Waterloo, including people, places and events within Waterloo.Work with Marketing Director to develop and execute social media campaigns and oversee general social media efforts.Foster strong relationships with community organizations, city departments and private sector. MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTSMust be proficient in full Adobe suite.Must have excellent photo & video skills, as well as written communication skills.Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate to meet campaign deadlines.
