The Technical Agile Scrum Business Systems and Software Support Specialist will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, ensuring that all systems support and conform to business specifications. Acting as a liaison between business units and software/hardware developers and vendors, the specialist will play a key role in improving the interaction between the technical team and the business, enhancing the quality and speed of requirements gathering and build processes.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Ensure that all systems support and align with business objectives and specifications. Act as a liaison between business units and software/hardware developers and vendors, facilitating communication and understanding between the technical team and the business. Identify opportunities for improving the interaction with the business and enhancing the quality and speed of requirements gathering and build processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement technical solutions that meet business needs. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to agile development methodologies and tooling. Provide technical expertise and support during the development, implementation, and maintenance phases of business systems. Assist in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions and vendors that best fit the business requirements. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the understanding of technical concepts and solutions among business stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to technical support and requirements management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in Product/Service Management, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and ITIL v3 certification. Proven experience in technical support for business systems and software, with a deep understanding of cloud providers such as Azure, Google, and AWS. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift. Excellent communication, organizational leadership, coaching, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders and demonstrate a strong executive presence. Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to operate and manage products/services with an owner mentality. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Self-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability. Demonstrated ability to build networks quickly within the organization and leverage them effectively to achieve business objectives.
