Job Title: Digital Media Solutions Engineer

Schedule/Location: Hybrid in Hyattsville, MD

Terms: 6-month contract w/ potential for extension/conversion

Overview: Our client, one of the largest services providers of grocery retail companies in the nation, is seeking a seasoned Digital Media Solutions Engineer to join their team and provide technical expertise in designing, managing, and deploying digital signage solutions in corporate, distribution center, and retail environments. The ideal candidate will lend their expertise in technical support, setup, and installation of Microsoft Teams Rooms technology and AV equipment for the Corporate Offices. There is an expectation that this candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, leveraging forward-thinking technical engineering expertise with Digital Signage, AV, and Microsoft Teams Rooms systems.

Duties And Responsibilities

Experience in managing digital signage solutions. Fundamental knowledge of digital signage systems including content management, device management, and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and resolution. Provide 3rd Level technical support, setup and installation of Microsoft Teams Rooms technology and AV equipment. Project management experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities. Self-starter with ability to work independently. Customer Service focused. Ability to communicate clearly written or verbal regarding incident, project, or status updates. Ability to directly interact with business and vendor partners to manage digital signage requests and projects for the enterprise. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Microsoft Office products experience. Creation of technical Knowledge Base documents for support and installation teams.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field or equivalent job experience. 3+ years’ experience with digital signage solutions. 3-5 years extensive technical experience with endpoint management systems (e.g., MS Intune, MS Teams Room Admin Portal). 5+ Years AV support experience (Installation/Configuration). Knowledge of and experience with Digital Out of Home (DOOH) marketing. Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system. Vendor Management Experience. Microsoft Teams Rooms experience. Demonstrated experience with managing/deploying and supporting AV technology, Microsoft Teams Room technology, or other related collaborative technologies in a widely distributed enterprise environment. Ability to develop detailed solution designs and implementation documentation. Ability to manage own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive timelines and budgets. Demonstrated experience working with multiple support partners and external teams to deliver solutions. Proven record of cultivating strong internal and external relationships that help drive successful intercompany initiatives. Deliver above-board customer service with a positive attitude!

Preferred Qualifications

Strong leadership and communications skills. Experience with digital signage solutions. MS Teams Rooms Administration experience (MTRA Portal). Teams Rooms Configuration and hardware deployment. AV hardware installation – Displays, Display Mounts, Cable Management. CTS Certification a plus.
