📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a global agriculture-business cooperative . Looking for a Payroll Specialist (Intermediate) in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 6+ Month Contract, potential to extend and/or hire on perm./FTE.
Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN
Contract: 6+ Month Contract
Schedule: Hybrid, Mon-Fri, Two Days (Tuesday is Mandatory, other day is flexible), Normal Business Hours
Pay: $26/HR + benefits
Key Responsibilities
Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls Processing, analyzing, time off accruals, voluntary/involuntary payroll deductions, new hire information, changes, terminations, bonuses, retirement, etc. Setup and maintain garnishments, tevies, child support notices, as well as processing disclosure forms and request vendor payments Setup and maintain employee direct deposit information Special projects, team collaboration, and performing administrative duties as needed
Requirements
Associate degree in related field OR FPC/CPP Certification + 2 years of payroll experience, working in fast-paced/high volume environment In lieu of degree/certifications, 6+ years high level payroll experience
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of HRIS System, including Lawson Software, WorkBrain Time and Attendance, Dayforce (Ceridian) Experience working in a corporate payroll department
