Program Manager

Our client, a global leader in networking technology and solutions, is seeing an experienced Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the enterprise IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with a focus on software and cloud development in an agile environment, and expertise in utilizing tools such as Jira. In this role, you'll leverage your program management skills to oversee a portfolio of interconnected projects, ensuring they contribute to a successful overall program.

Location: Remote with CST/EST working hours preferably

Duration: 9 months contract (possibility of extension)

Pay rate range: $55-$60/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project and program plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, deliverables, and dependencies between projects. Execute program projects in adherence to SDLC, Kanban, Scrum, and other methodologies, while aligning them to the overarching program goals. Monitor and control project activities, program health, ensuring milestones are met, and address deviations promptly. Work closely with internal teams and business units to understand project requirements, ensure program alignment with organizational goals, and manage stakeholder expectations. Identify potential risks at the project and program level, and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Lead and mentor project managers within the program. Foster collaboration and communication across project teams to ensure program success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Program Manager in a tech-enterprise environment. Proven experience in change management. Working knowledge of networking and cloud development practices. Expert in agile project & program management methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously. Proficiency in project management tools, especially Jira and Confluence (3+ years); working knowledge of SharePoint and Miro.
