📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client in the cybersecurity services industry is seeking a Security Research Engineer to join their team. As a Security Research Engineer, you will be at the forefront of defense against cyber threats that can disrupt businesses, compromise personal information, and even threaten national security.

Location: Remote
Pay Range: $30-$35/hr W2
Duration: 6 Month Contract
What’s the Job?
Research protocol RFC and related application implementation. Research and provide defense mechanisms against popular protocol/firewall evasions. Research common file types for file identification, blocking, DLP, etc. Develop protocol and file type decoders, and integrate the detection solutions into IPS engine of the client's firewall. Build common services to support various network security services. Develop internal tools to monitor and support the cyber security products.
