Job Description

Collaborate as a system-level engineer to integrate and optimize security-related Linux and Android components into an RTOS-based infotainment solution for automotive consumer devices. Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of the security domain, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance of the infotainment software. Participate in the design of an industry-leading in-vehicle platform for GM infotainment systems, adhering to architectural requirements such as scalability, reliability, and security. Act as a communication "bridge" between internal and external technical teams, facilitating system-level design trade-offs and identifying innovation opportunities. Engage in new feature development, as well as the maintenance of existing features and bug fixes. Collaborate closely with team members in software development activities using the Scrum/Agile development process. Ensure the creation of clear and comprehensive documentation for all developed software components.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Development on RTOS/QNX and Android platforms, particularly at the system level. Strong proficiency in debugging complex code bases using C, C++, and Java. Experience with scripting languages such as bash and Python. In-depth familiarity with Scrum/Agile software development processes and SCM tools like Git, Gerrit, and OpenGrok.
