Warehouse Supervisor

We are actively hiring Warehouse Supervisors for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. This is a high-volume operation and one that requires accuracy and efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the manager and overseeing the operations on the outbound dock.

To be considered you will have 3 years progressive experience in an automotive or similarly relevant operation. Candidates with a strong background in materials, quality and production roles in an automotive industry is an asset. These roles offer significant benefits including:

DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONAssists manager by overseeing all plant warehouse operations as neededManages sequencing operationsAbility to stand in as the shift manager in emergencies

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

General DutiesParticipates in daily meetings for all employees on the assigned shiftOversees and is responsible for all sequencing operations (including personnel)Assists manager with daily and hourly reports, by gathering required informationEnsures cleanliness and good housekeeping practices are employed using 5-S principlesLiaises with customers, where appropriateConducts regular facility inspectionsPerforms process, product, lean 6S and cyclic auditsMonitors activity and communication in Google Chat and WhatsApp ChatResponsible to escalate any constraints within the process to the shift manager in a timely mannerAbility work in a fast-paced environmentAble to learn and perform standard operating procedures for each commoditySpot audit sequencing racks to verify commodity compliance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:High school diploma or equivalentPost secondary degree in engineering/business or related field preferred

Skill/Experience Level:Minimum 3 years experience in a related position in an automotive or similar work environment.Must be certified and able to drive and handle all basic material handling equipment: forklift trucks, pullies, tuggers and reach trucksTeam building experience
