Role Description This is a volunteer role as a Member of the Board of Directors for Eye Care for Detroit. The board member will be responsible for participating in board meetings, making strategic decisions, and providing guidance and support to the organization. This is an on-site role located in Dearborn, MI.
Qualifications Experience in non-profit management or board governanceOphthalmologist or OptometristKnowledge of healthcare or eye care industryStrategic thinking and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersCommitment to the mission and values of Eye Care for DetroitExperience in fundraising or donor development is a plus
