Hours

Full TimeOur clinic is open Monday-Friday 6am-5pm. Your shifts will fall within those hours. You may need to work a little earlier/later as needed.No late nights, weekends or on-call shifts!

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program requiredCurrent RN License requiredPrevious nursing experience in OR or ophthalmology strongly preferredBachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferredPrevious nursing experience in at least one of the following settings preferred: Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical or Telemetry floors

Position Summary

Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and company policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.

Ability to respond to emergent situations. Participates in continuing education/in-service training as needed, staff meetings, and Q.A.P.I. program. Ability to work independently and within a group. Follows physician orders and directions from management. Actively participates in the development of a healthy work environment. Assists in training new staff when needed.Attendance – Arrives to work area on time and has minimal absences.
